PicklePapaya was developed and created to provide clothing with Images to Inspire the Imagination. Upon arrival of our first child Marley Sky, PicklePapaya took on a more focused direction. We felt compelled as parents to limit our attention to children and more specifically, toddlers. Our Designs challenge the imagination to accept the impossible as an option and every option as a possibility.  Our greatest hope is to open the door to a creative dialog between parent and child.  Our children should be encouraged to believe in the impossible until the Impossible becomes reality…PicklePapaya is just a key to the world behind your child's imagination.

“As a child, I grew up on Guam, a small island in the pacific. After school I would run to my bus but not before stopping at the cart of  a local vendor across the street. An elderly local  who sold small bags of chilled pickle papaya for fifty cents. I would endure the hour long bus ride home sitting with my face pressed up against the bus window lost in my imagination and savoring every bite of my delicious pickle papaya.”
